Hirshel Kahn, MD, FAAD

Hirshel Kahn, MD is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from a six-year medical school, Dr. Kahn completed a residency in Pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Kahn went on to complete a fellowship in Dermatopathology and a then a second residency in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kahn is certified by the American Board of Pathology, the American Board of Dermatology and by the American Board of Dermatology and Pathology with a special qualification in Dermatopathology. In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Kahn is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Dr. Kahn is widely published and remains on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City where he teaches in the residency training program. His special interests include skin cancer, psoriasis and hair loss. He also has extensive experience in Botox and Dermal Fillers.

Christina Smitley

Christina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She scored in the top six percent of examinees nationwide on her certification exam. Christina is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in both New York and Florida. Her Master of Science in Nursing was completed at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky where she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her nursing education was received through Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida, where she also worked for five years. Christina received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Education from the University of Florida. She graduated Cum Laude and was an active member in the Golden Key International Honor Society. Christina selected dermatology as her field after combating cystic acne and skin cancer. She comes to Advanced Dermatology, P.C. with experience in adult and pediatric dermatology from Miami, where she worked closely with board-certified dermatologists and MOHs surgeons to ensure that all skin related concerns were evaluated and treated with the best quality care. She treats a wide variety of skin related conditions such as acne, vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, cysts, and other skin related concerns. She is experienced in cosmetic treatments such as Ultherapy, Coolsculpting, Fraxel, PRP, Microneedling, ThermiVA, MiraDry, Laser treatments, Botox, Fillers, Chemical Peels, and other cosmetic treatments to help patients look and feel their best. As a nurse practitioner, Christina prides herself in providing the highest level of compassionate care to her patients. She volunteers with local breast cancer organizations and counsels women going through mastectomies. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, bicycling, running, traveling, and Gator football.
